I feel the same way about every album. I think it's better than the one before. I have a strong feeling that you can't put out a record until you hate the last one you did because you have to make it better.

You can't keep putting out the same record, it has to be better than the last thing you did. You have to find out what sucks, you have to stop doing what sucks... you've gotta find out what you're doing right, and you've gotta do more of that.

We kind of just got more mature and more realistic with what we're doing. I like to have a drink or two, but I cut down on that. It was getting a little out of control. Two of the guys in the band don't even drink at all. We just riff off each other man. We're just so, so eye-to-eye with our sense of humour that we can just sit in an empty room and entertain ourselves for hours.
