Advent allows us to recover during this four-week journey. It begins four Sundays before Christmas all the way up to Christmas. It lets us breath in those moments of faithfulness and helps us recognize that God is working.

It's not the elements of our worship that are awesome. It's the object of our worship Who is awesome.

This is the residue of sin on planet earth. Things are broken. People are hurting. The night is here. Darkness is upon us. Yet shining in the night is a Savior, and He has come to shine on you.

Mere nails, though pounded deep, were not enough to keep Jesus on the cross. But love was... and love prevailed.

As an overflow of my life - the wake I leave behind with my little dash on earth - I want others to fall in love with Jesus and know of His great hope and purpose for their lives.

Who knows who's waiting right now for one of us to invite them into God's family?

Worship is our response, both personal and corporate, to God for who He is, and what He has done; expressed in and by the things we say and the way we live.

Jesus has enough, is enough, and will be enough.

Simply by our proximity to Jesus, we can bring hope and life to people and places trapped in discouragement and despair.

If you're waiting with God, waiting is okay. If you're always waiting on God, you'll be frustrated. God never seems to work at the speed that we want Him to.
